The strength of your website is in its ability to inform and or convert. Our website auditing service is not focused on SEO but sees more of an emphasis put into UX (User Experience Design) and UI (User Interface Design) What is the difference between UX and UI design? Both elements are crucial and work closely together. But despite their professional relationship, the roles themselves are quite different, referring to very different parts of the process and the design discipline. Where UX Design is a more analytical and technical field, UI Design is closer to what we refer to as graphic design, though the responsibilities are somewhat more complex.
Website Analysis: UX Design
We start by installing advanced analytic tools in the back-end of your website and start monitoring how your clients interact with your site. Once we have collected enough data about your user’s experience, we then compile an extensive report with highlighted opportunities for improvement and priorities these to maximise conversions and ease of use.
This report is then sent to our UI team for their input and recommendations.
Website Analysis: UI Design
Once the UX team have analysed the users behavior and supplied recommended actions the UI team look and the usability of the website to focus on engaging the users and simplifying the use of the site. Key things that the UI team focus on are:
- Call to actions
- Easily accessible phone numbers and contact details
- Quality of content
- Quality of onsite media
- Service or product representation
- Ease of use
Once this report is finalised we then supply you with a clear actionable list of prioritised changes that need to be addressed. The client is then free to engage an internal resource to make these changes or engage RedEx Digital to do this for you.
